BEFORE THE FUNERAL

 

I will contact you to arrange a convenient time to come and meet you and discuss the ceremony.

​

The meeting will take about an hour and I will help you shape the funeral ceremony you want for your loved one. This can include the style and tone of the ceremony; any music choices you would like (including hymns if you want them) and any readings and poems you would like (including prayers if you want them).

​

I can also create a personal tribute to your loved one (sometimes called a eulogy) that reflects their unique life, their personality and their character.

If you have any particular requests for the ceremony (such as placing flowers on the coffin), we can also discuss this.

​

This is your ceremony and it is my job to make it happen the way you want to the best of my abilities.

​

After our meeting I will send you a draft of the ceremony plan and of the tribute for you to check over and change if you wish.

AT THE FUNERAL

On the day of the funeral I will meet you at the venue in good time and confirm that everything is satisfactory and, if necessary, make any last minute adjustments.

AFTER THE FUNERAL

​

A few days after the funeral I will get in touch by email just to check that everything waas done to your satisfaction and to assist you in any way I can with concerns or queries.
